the policies, laws, personnel, and facilities are put in place and implemented to protect all the
children to have access to quality education. As such education is the right of every child
regardless age, sex, gender and disability they should all have equal opportunities to bridge
gender gap in education. The government needs to advocate for gender responses, sensitive

On the other hand, the study recommends the strategy to improve the academic performance
through remedial teaching and home schooling as well as the introduction of skill based
Education programs to cater for all children who dropped-out of school due to early pregnancy
and marriages and those children who also missed out school due to the wars and poverty. This
strategy will create opportunity for such children to have access to education once more, the fear
